Kennedy Center's Dr. Leetun Named Team Physician for USA Under 17 Hockey Team

Surgeon Darin Leetun, Orthopedic M.D. of The Kennedy Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has been Selected to Join Team of Physicians Working with the USA Under 17 Hockey Team

Dr. Leetun's selection is an honor not only for him but also for the entire Kennedy Center team.

The Kennedy Center for the Hip and Knee, a leading hip and knee replacement health care facility and Wisconsin orthopedic institution, is pleased to announce that one of its staff surgeons has been chosen to join the medical team for the USA Under 17 Hockey team. Orthopedic surgeon Darin Leetun, M.D. has been asked to serve as a team physician, an honor he also received in 2009.

This illustrious Under 17 Hockey team represents the best high school hockey players in the country and is a developmental tool for the U.S. Olympic Team. Dr. Leetun's selection is an honor not only for him but also for the entire Kennedy Center team.

The USA Under 17 Hockey team practices in Ann Arbor, Michigan and competes in a variety of national and international competitions. Members of the team practice together, attend classes together and live together in preparation for these competitions. Dr. Leetun will be charged with treating and providing medical support for their practices and competitions leading up to the World Challenge tournament held in Windsor, Ontario near the end of the year.
