Capital Corp Merchant Banking Orlando has entered into a €27.5 million (USD $36.1 million) funding agreement with a vertically integrated Greece-based domestic giant that provides metal products for shops and warehouse equipment as well as renewable energy and waste management products and services. The company has been in business for 40 years and has shown a perpetually strong track record.

As the Greek economy has been severely impeded in the last 5 years and strikes continue without abating, it has been hard for the country to appeal to foreign companies to invest in its products and technology. Banks have also tightened their belts, preventing domestic companies from being able to further grow and even hire new workers. Further, as a result of the worldwide financial crisis, working capital loans, especially on this scale, have been hard to come by.

Working capital loans can be of great help to companies as they immediately reduce financial pressure and inject equity into the working capital, allowing for the smooth continuation of the development of new projects and protect existing jobs. What’s more, a portion of the funding agreement from Capital Corp Merchant Banking Orlando will be allocated into R&D and new products.

The method by which this project is to be funded is the brainchild of Mr Gilles Herard, Jr. Mr Herard is a seasoned Merchant Banker and has been in the banking industry for 38 years.
