Founder/COO Leslie O. Magsalay promoted The PMO Practice Customer Advisory Board Member Jan Biles to Director, New Product Introduction.

I am excited to be working with Leslie to achieve operations excellence in our supply chain and operations teams working on the many new product introductions planned for The PMO Practice in 2012 and 2013.

The PMO Practice Founder/COO Leslie O. Magsalay announced today the appointment of Jan Biles to the role of “Director, New Product Introductions” to lead introduction of additional product lines and brands for The PMO Practice.

As an active member of the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) since 2011, Jan has supported Leslie‘s delivery of content-rich PMO Practice products and tools and advised Leslie on her 2012 calendar of events for executives and PMO professionals. Jan has also helped productize two upcoming product lines: “The PMO Journals” and “The PMO Bundles”.

In her new role Jan will be expanding her CAB activities and her coordination of PMO Practice product planning and release to help introduce a new line of products (such as The PMO Journal and The PMO Bundles) and brand. Jan has been instrumental in coordinating the supply chain management efforts to introduce a new brand of products for the consumer as part of a case study for program managers.

Jan brings more than 20 years of New Product Introduction and post Merger and Acquisition (M&A) integration experience in consumer products to her new role. Her broad cross-functional experience in leading complex system product development and release teams will be leveraged by The PMO Practice to deliver products that raise PMO professionalism and their ability to Plan, Execute and Deliver ™ product portfolios. Her post-M&A experience will support ongoing PMO Practice consulting and partnering efforts on M&A’s and her 20+ years of functional management experience in diverse organizations is already being put to good use in her editorial contributions to “The PMO Playbook” series.

“We are happy Jan has agreed to expand her involvement in the PMO Practice. Jan’s expertise in new product introduction and post-M&A integration are valuable assets for the PMO Practice and we will be counting on Jan as we respond to the many requests from our CAB and existing customer base to expand our product portfolio and partner relationships. I managed Jan at a previous company and saw Jan build a team of cross-divisional program managers, delivering 20 software, 40+ hardware and five complex system products in 12 product lines from three separate $100M+ business units and market segments. She was able to build the operations program management team to support the (previous) company’s aggressive initiative to integrate divisions, new acquisitions and product lines, while maximizing cost reduction.”
