Balboa Press, a division of Hay House Inc., and leading self-publisher of personal empowerment books with a positive message, announced they will be sponsoring the first Hay House Visions Fiction Writing Contest. The Grand Prize winner of the contest will receive a Hay House Visions publishing contract and a $5,000 advance.

Hay House Visions is a new fiction-publishing imprint launched by Hay House, Inc., with the goal of bringing empowering fiction books to readers everywhere. The winner of the contest will join Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Gay Hendricks as one of Hay House’s first fiction authors. The contest is open to authors who are at least 18 years of age and have written an unpublished manuscript that is at least 50,000 words in length. Entries are received at:

All eligible entries must be received by June 1, 2012. Winners will be announced on June 16, 2012. In addition to the grand prize, the following prizes will be offered:

  •     One First Prize winner will receive a free Discover publishing package from Balboa Press, a video press release announcing the availability of the book and will be interviewed by Hay House Radio.
  •     One Second Prize winner will receive a free Connect publishing package from Balboa Press.
