The Certified ScrumMaster training is a two-day course that is taught by expert and author Mike Cohn. The course provides not only the fundamental principles of Scrum, but also provides participants with hands-on experience in using Scrum. Following the course and successful completion of an online course, participants become Certified ScrumMasters.
During this two-day event all attendees will have discovered why a seemingly simple process such as Scrum can have such a profound effect on any organization. Attendees receive practical experience working with Scrum tools and activities such as the product backlog, sprint backlog, daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings and burndown charts. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to apply Scrum to all manner of projects no matter what size.
At the end of the two-day ScrumMaster Training course, participants will be qualified and ready to pass the Scrum Alliance assessment exam. This exam is required to become a CSM or Certified ScrumMaster. The course includes a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance. This Certified ScrumMaster training course counts for 15 Professional Development Units (PDUs).
According to Stephanie Saad from Microsoft, “Mike gave a Scrum training for some of our leads and managers in Visual Studio Team System. It was fantastic. I would highly recommend this training to any team.” Dake Waters from Day 1 Studios also gave great praise for the Certified ScrumMaster Training course. He said, “your ScrumMaster course was the best project management course I’ve ever experienced. The concepts were thoughtfully presented and clearly delivered.”
Mike Cohn’s Certified ScrumMaster Training course teaches practical, project-proven practices, the essentials of getting a project off on the right foot, how to write users stories for the product backlog, why there’s more to leading a self-organizing team than buying pizza and getting out of the way, and much more. Participants benefit from Mike’s fifteen plus years of using Scrum in a wide variety of environments.
