The tragedy of watching his mother in pain and her health rapidly beginning to deteriorate as the disease progressed, sent Sharif into a deep depression.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) April 11, 2012
April, 11th 2012 - Beats by Bk is proud to announce their fundraising campaign to support breast cancer treatment and research. Sharif Sandiford, CEO of Beats by Bk, lost his mother "Mavis Sandiford" to a battle with breast cancer in 1998. The tragedy of watching his mother in pain and her health rapidly beginning to deteriorate as the disease progressed, sent Sharif into a deep depression. After his mother passed, he soon realized he didn't really hate the world but he hated the disease and became determined to do something about it. Sharif has since become dedicated to using his passion for music as a way to raise money to support an amazing cause that affects the lives of millions of people across the world.
Beats by Bk firmly believes that supporting this cause not only creates awareness for the need to take the necessary steps to become vigilant of your health but also inspires and empowers our society to work together towards a better future. For the month of April, they will be donating 50% of all proceeds made from the sale of their tracks to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. You can find more information on how you can not only purchase quality music for your project but also help make a difference by going to http://www.beatsbybk.com for more information.
