ORLANDO (PRWEB) April 08, 2012
As the National Chaplain of the Second Marine Division Association, Dr. Anthony DeMarco, former U.S. Marine and combat veteran of WWII in the South Pacific, presents a number of memorial addresses given since the terrorist attacks on America. He details that twice a year he speaks to the U. S. Marines and their families and friends at both, Protestant and Catholic Chapels at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina at the Annual Divisional Birthday and also at the Annual National Reunion that is held at various locations across the United States. With the return of our troops from Iraq and with the amount of informational and inspirational memorial addresses increasing, DeMarco felt there was a heartfelt desire to have them published in a book, doing so in (America's)" Changing Landscapes and Enduring Foundations”
“I want readers not only to have a sense of pride in the courage, commitment and sacrifice of our service men and women during our national effort to defeat terrorism in our country as well as assisting other nations to do the same, but also to bring healing, comfort and encouragement to our warriors and their families.” DeMarco expresses.
An excerpt from (America's) "Changing Landscapes and Enduring Foundations”:
“In closing, I challenge every one of you, above all, to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with your entire mind, and with all your soul. And if you listen to Him and answer His call upon your life, your prayers will be answered, and He will give you the strength and the courage to be the best keepers of the spring of God’s eternal truths."
"Saepe expertus, semper fidelis, frates aeterni” "Often tested, always faithful, brothers forever."
The manner in which each memorial address is presented is an unfolding of truths that inspire the reader to rise up to the cause of freedom and justice.
“The book is dedicated to the Marines who have served our country since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on our nation and to their families and friends,” explains DeMarco.
