News Talk Radio 710, WOR announced today that David Paterson, former Governor of the State of New York and host of “The Governor David Paterson Show” weekdays from 4-6pm on WOR, will be joined by Robert Jackson, chairman of the education committee of the New York City Council, for part of his special roundtable broadcast of his program live from New York’s legendary Russian Tea Room on April 5. Jackson will join United Federation of Teachers President Michael Mulgrew for the first public discussion between the two sides over the controversial teacher-evaluation process. Education is one of the three main topics, along with homeland security and health care reform, to be discussed over the course of this special expanded edition of the Governor’s program, which will be broadcast from 4-7pm on April 5. Other guests scheduled to appear live on this special “State of the Tri-State” program are: Chief Academic Officer Shael Suransky, Congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ), Congressman Bob Turner (R-NY), Former Head of NY Homeland Security Michael Balboni, Former New York Lieutenant Governor Betsy McCaughey, New York City Councilman Robert Jackson, New Jersey Association of School Administrators Executive Director Dr. Richard Bozza, Congressman Bill Pascrell (D-NJ), Congressman Bob Turner (R-NY) national security expert K.T. McFarland, and Imam Al-Hajj Talib 'Abdur-Rashid, religious and spiritual leader of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood in Harlem.
