Wilmington Trust, a leading provider of institutional trustee, agency, and administrative services through its Corporate Client Services(CCS) business, announced the addition of four capital markets professionals to serve clients in Los Angeles, Calif., Minneapolis, Minn., and Dallas, Texas.
“We continue to broaden our national capital markets reach using a regional team approach,” said Jack Beeson, senior vice president and head of the Global Capital Markets Group. “The addition of these team members helps to strengthen that commitment and provides our clients with experts who know their local market and business needs.”
During the past year, Wilmington Trust has expanded its capital markets services to clients, such as traditional corporate trust and agency services for corporate escrows, corporate debt, municipal debt, life settlement, premium finance programs, and other specialty transactions, by adding highly experienced professionals specializing in these key areas, as well as opening offices in California and Texas.
The new Corporate Client Services team members include Brian Buchanan, Charles “Chuck” Hicks, Jeanie Mar, and Greg Nelson. They bring decades of corporate trust experience to their new roles with Wilmington Trust.
Buchanan and Mar will be based in the company’s Los Angeles-area office. Buchanan, vice president, joins Wilmington Trust from Wells Fargo, N.A. He brings more than 30 years of corporate trust experience, including multi-family housing transactions and large pooled transactions with multiple participants. He has been a part of the California Public Finance community since 1995. Mar, vice president, will be responsible for transactions related to municipal and corporate debt. She has over 16 years of corporate trust experience and is familiar with all aspects of municipal bond financing.

With a focus on building client relationships, Hicks brings a broad level of experience in the administration of corporate, municipal, and escrow transactions and has been involved in the Texas marketplace since 1990. He will be based in the company’s Dallas, Texas office.
