A unique mobility solution for the 21st century.

MV-1 of Orange County is proud to be the newest franchise in the Tustin Auto Center line up of dealerships. The MV-1 is the first mobility vehicle that was designed from the ground up for wheelchair accessibility and is proudly built in America by AM General LLC. The MV-1 features a fully-deployable side ramp, can accommodate up to six passengers – including wheelchairs and motorized scooters – and it is the only vehicle that meets or exceeds guidelines set forth under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

“It truly is a unique mobility solution for the 21st century, and is the first vehicle of its class to help improve ease and quality of life,” says Mark Parkinson, President, MV-1 of Orange County. The MV-1 although designed for wheelchair accessibility is well-suited for a variety of uses. “It changes people’s lives in ways I never thought a vehicle could. You will be amazed what the MV-1 can do and all of the people and businesses it can serve,” says Parkinson.

“The MV-1 has so many features worth bragging about especially the fact that it is built here in the United States, it offers a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) solution as an option that is factory built and not an aftermarket conversion and it is superior in design function and space,” states Parkinson. The MV-1 also offers a ceiling height of nearly 5 feet, a low step in and convenient loading with its deployable ramp through a 56” high and 36” wide door, power windows and many other conveniences standard on all MV-1s. If you wanted to buy a regular van, not only would you be paying for the vehicle base price (the MV-1 base price is $42000), you would spend up to another twenty thousand at an aftermarket shop to retro-fit that vehicle," says Parkinson. It can save a lot of money as well as a lot of time since modifications to a regular vehicle can take up to three months and with the MV-1 you can drive right off the lot.

To help promote the all-new MV-1, there is a $3500 factory allowance with a trade-in of any qualified mobility conversion vehicle making the all-new MV-1 more affordable now through May 31, 2012.
