“We are excited to begin offering this new level of representation to our clients, and we are happy that Ms. Bornstein will lead our efforts,” said President James S. She uses a compassionate approach to guide clients through the complex process with the goal of achieving the best possible result.
Bornstein is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in both Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law. Over the last several years, Bornstein has worked with individual and business clients in numerous complex cases.
“I try to give my clients the tools and information they need to try to get the fresh start they seek,” Bornstein said. “Many people turn to bankruptcy after they have become mired in debts that resulted from the loss of a job, serious illness, or even divorce. I work to try to get them the relief they need so that these debts don’t have to ruin their lives.”
In addition to bankruptcy, Bornstein also has experience in construction law, family law, wills and estates, and criminal law.
Bornstein received her J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina State University, where she graduated cum laude.
She is a member of The American Bar Association, The North Carolina Bar Association, The North Carolina State Bar, and The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
