Aircreek has announced three significant new updates to its Filamente – SharePoint Mobile app.

Based on user feedback, Aircreek has announced three significant new updates to its Filamente – SharePoint Mobile app. The new version includes support for Microsoft Office Web Apps, AirPrint (Apple’s option to print documents from the iPad) and offline synchronization capabilities.

One of the top user requests for the Filamente was editing Microsoft office documents within the app. Aircreek users can now access Microsoft Word, Excel and OneNote on the Office 365 SharePoint site directly within Aircreek’s iPad app. For example, customers can edit Microsoft Word or Excel spreadsheet without leaving the Filamente app and without relying on a third-party app for document editing.

Users also demanded support for AirPrint, Apple’s wireless printing service for iPad. Now they can print documents within Aircreek’s iPad app. Another popular request was that users wanted to download an entire SharePoint document library so that they can access SharePoint documents anywhere even when there is no Internet connection.

“Today’s SharePoint users want to access SharePoint anywhere,” said Jason Huh, CEO of Aircreek. “Support for Office Web Apps, AirPrint and offline synchronization makes our app even more useful to our customers, unlocking new opportunities to truly free them from laptops and desktops.”

The new version of the iPad app also includes other minor enhancements with cosmetic fixes and multiple file upload feature. For more information, visit
