People in Scotland seem reluctant to join the hunt for a cougar.

A survey of where the members of dating website for older women and younger men are located has thrown up some surprising results. The findings show that Birmingham is the second most popular location for older women/younger men relationships, with 6% of members located in the area. In third place is Essex, with 5%, showing that Essex is not the only way, but that a cougar based relationship in the region is the right move for some.

At the other end of the spectrum, the people of Scotland seemed the most reluctant to go in the hunt for a cougar, with four of the bottom top membership regions falling in this area.

The website, based at http://www.cougar-dating.co.uk has been around for 3 years, having been formed to satisfy the demand by both parties in the younger men/older women arena, fuelled by relationships such as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. Thousands have signed up to find their own Mrs Robinson and have ‘graduated’ towards dates and relationships, as well as the more casual side of things.

The founder of the site said “Whilst welcoming members from all over the UK, it’s great to see Birmingham lead the way alongside London in what is now a widely accepted personal relationship to enter into.
