New and improved online eyewear shopping experience and updated inventory announced by online glasses retailer

Online eyewear retailer has announced the launch of a fully redesigned and retooled website.

Offering a complete range of custom men’s, women’s and children’s eyeglasses and sunglasses -- including designer frames by Coach®, prescription lenses and contact lenses -- the new website enhances the convenience and features that customers have come to expect from

After selecting a frame, customers have the choice of uploading a photo, using a Facebook photo, or selecting a pre-existing picture to model the frames. With the Try On feature, customers can save time and energy involved in returns or exchanges by knowing how the frames will work with their face shape. Customers can also share the Try On picture with their friends on Facebook to get feedback.

Just in time for the 2012 Major League Baseball season, is also premiering with a full line of team sunglasses and eyeglasses for shoppers’ favorite MLB team. NFL, College and NHL frames are also available for purchase at a low price.

The new website is built around a cutting-edge e-commerce system built by BigCommerce and an online store platform designed to make the shopping experience easier and smoother, all while offering great, low prices.
