Reports on Deloitte Giving $60 Million in Pro Bono Services to Nonprofits

This new announcement builds on a prior $50 million commitment ending in 2011 that resulted in more than 300 pro bono engagements reaching over 250 nonprofits. According to information obtained by, the total investment is more than $100 million.

Echevarria spoke to the importance of women in the human capital dynamic.

“As human capital replaces natural resources as the basis for growth in the knowledge economy, talent is rising as a dominant business issue," he said. "As a growing force in the talent pool—one that absolutely cannot be understated—women play a critical role in economic growth and competitiveness."

A list of the nonprofits Deloitte has helped includes the Girl Scouts, Dress for Success, Professional Business Women of California, YWCA and Women’s Initiative. Deloitte has given guidance to strategic planning, tax structuring and exemption support, risk assessment, anti-fraud consulting, IT security, financial controls, human capital strategy and management, governance and risk oversight and capital projects consulting.
