We manage rental properties on a daily basis, but we also care a great deal about the people who live in them, our employees, and the towns we live in.

ONEprop, Inc., the area’s largest full-service real estate and property management firm, will be performing a community service project in the City of Sachse’s Heritage Park on April 23, 2012. The entire staff, along with family and friends, will come together to mulch 200 trees in an effort to keep the neighborhood beautiful.

The Heritage Park area of Sachse is surrounded by residential properties, many of which are managed by ONEprop. “We really wanted to find a way for our employees to work together as a team while giving back to a community where ONEprop has a strong presence. Working with the City of Sachse on a project like this is a great way to accomplish both of these goals,” said Charles Riska, ONEprop’s Chief Operating Officer.

Sachse is a Tree City USA, a designation given by the Arbor Day Foundation, in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters. This work will help the City continue to satisfy the requirements of this recognition. Lance Whitworth, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Sachse, said, “ONEprop’s willingness to serve our community by mulching more than two hundred trees at Heritage Park will assist in our recognition for the Tree City USA program next year but, more importantly, will beautify a park that is visited by more people than any other park in our city.”

Riska added, “We manage rental properties on a daily basis, but we also care a great deal about the people who live in them, our employees, and the towns we live in. This work is a direct reflection of our mission statement, ‘ONEprop is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and expertise within the rental home market wherever we are located to help benefit individuals, neighborhoods, and society as a whole.’”

Other local businesses have also gotten involved with this project. Guillory Property Maintenance Co. is providing the shovels, wheelbarrows, and a Bobcat to aid in the effort, and Kendall Construction, Inc. is contributing food and beverages. The city of Sachse is supplying the mulch.

ONEprop is a Southwest-based real estate and property management company operating in 8 locations: Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin, Houston, Phoenix, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Baton Rouge/Lafayette, and Charlotte. ONEprop has been in business since 1987, and employs a staff of Realtors® and corporate professionals with extensive industry experience. With over $450 million of assets under management, ONEprop is the recognized leader in the single-family residential property management industry.
