AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile reinforce The Assistance Fund’s commitment to helping patients while simultaneously reducing cost.

The Assistance Fund announces the immediate availability of AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile, two web-based technology programs that help individuals locate financial assistance for medications. Financial programs, such as those offered by The Assistance Fund, other nonprofit, and drug companies, help individuals gain access to necessary medications by providing monetary assistance or free medications.

AssistFund Mobile allows a patient, or someone acting on their behalf, to identify such programs based on their individual needs. Further, users can apply for financial assistance programs offered by The Assistance Fund through AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile. AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile are free of charge. Financial assistance services offered by The Assistance Fund are free as well. Patients must qualify for assistance based on criteria established by our organization. Eligibility criteria include income qualification, residency, and other program-specific components as set forth in the enrollment application that is presented by the tools.

“AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile reinforce The Assistance Fund’s commitment to helping patients while simultaneously reducing cost,” said Executive Director Jeff Spafford, “Both tools increase patients’ knowledge and awareness to programs designed to improve access to their prescribed medications.”
Electronic program enrollment via AssistFund eEnroll and AssistFund Mobile streamlines the application process by eliminating needless paper and, more importantly, provides individuals with the ability to apply for The Assistance Funds’ programs at any time versus only during office hours. Thus, patients receive financial assistance and, subsequently, greatly needed medication sooner. Users can chat online with Patient Advocates during office hours to receive help with the enrollment application. Spafford continues, “We are recognized in the industry for our continuous product innovation and for bringing the latest technology services to our patients. We are excited to offer new and pioneering ways of making access a reality.”

Download the free app for iOS from the Apple App Store by visiting iTunes. AssistFund eEnroll can be accessed through the organization's website. If you have questions about either tool, Patient Advocates are available at (855) 845-3663. The Assistance Fund is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (EST), excluding holidays.
