The inspiration for Faetanini’s inaugural bridal collection is the “Antique Jewelry Box,” perfectly suited for The Sylvie Collection’s sweet jewelry aesthetic.
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 11, 2012
Bridal jewelry designer Sylvie Levine bejeweled models at bridal gown designer Kelly Faetanini’s launch event for her eponymous collection on April 13 during New York International Bridal Week, (April 14-16). Both designers specialize in creating customizable collections, keeping the bride-to be and her budget in mind! The inspiration for Faetanini’s inaugural bridal collection was the “Antique Jewelry Box,” perfectly suited for The Sylvie Collection’s sweet jewelry aesthetic.
Sylvie Levine, designer of The Sylvie Collection, is committed to designing diamond jewelry that is timeless, versatile and sophisticated–at every price. Her namesake collection is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable bridal jewelry companies in the fine jewelry industry. She specializes in designer diamond engagement and wedding rings as well as “day-of” bridal jewelry. Born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium in the center of the world’s diamond trade, Levine grew up learning and understanding the diamond and jewelry business. Tapping into more than 25-years of experience in the diamond and jewelry business, Levine uses a hands-on approach that works beautifully with brides-to-be. As the lone female bridal designer in a male dominated industry, Sylvie has a patient and personal perspective that sets her apart from her male colleagues. She can often be seen offering counsel to clients, as well as the media via her “Sylvie Says” series of advice. All 14 collections, which are named with French terms of endearment, can be customized. She offers platinum as well as 14 and 18K gold in white, rose, and yellow, as well as thousands of settings for the soon-to-be betrothed.
The Kelly Faetanini bridal collection has a strong focus on customization as well. Brides will be able to work with their wedding salon to create their dream gown. Skirt lengths can be shifted, beading can be added or removed and other unique treatments will be offered. Illusion necklines and one-shoulder sashes can be detached after the ceremony for a strapless gown while waistband and floral appliqués can be supplemented or modified. Kelly Faetanini will also feature gowns at accessible designer price points, with the initial collection ranging from $1,500 to $4,000 retail.
