Advanced Systems Group has hired Lou Marchant and Shari Linville to strengthen its sales team in its Dallas office

Advanced Systems Group (ASG), the Denver-based IT consulting, integration, and project management firm, today announces that it has hired Lou Marchant and Shari Linville to strengthen its sales team in its Dallas office, which was established three years ago.

Patrick Smith, Vice President of Sales at ASG, explains, “The new employees are part of our long-term plan to increase our presence in the Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana (TOLA) regions. As they say in Texas, it’s ‘Go big or go home.’ Dallas was always the next logical step in our strategy for helping clients in the region manage their data, consolidate data centers, and incorporate cloud computing strategies into their IT environments.”

Lou Marchant joins the ASG team as a Senior Account Executive. A former engineer with an extensive background in the hardware and software industries, Marchant has over 20 years of sales experience in the Dallas market. Throughout her successful career, Marchant has worked at several top companies, including Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Oracle.

Shari Linville also joins the Dallas office as a Consulting Engineer. With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Linville has a comprehensive background in servers, storage, networking and virtualization. As an engineer for ASG, she will apply her technical expertise configuring and designing converged infrastructures and cloud computing architectures.

“We’re fortunate to add Lou and Shari to our growing operation in Dallas. They both have considerable experience working in the Dallas area and highly technical backgrounds, which make them a natural fit for ASG,” affirms Smith. “We’re excited to have them join our team.”

As part of its investment in its TOLA regional offices, ASG participated in the 2012 INTERFACE conference on April 5, 2012 at the Westin Park Central in Dallas. INTERFACE is a series of single-day IT conferences addressing advances in information security, business continuance planning and communications in several markets across the Western United States.

On May 17, 2012, ASG will also participate at the second annual InnoTech event, located at the Irving Convention Center in Dallas. This one-day, focused conference assembles the leading business and technology executives in the region to address IT issues, present real world case studies and showcase the latest products and solutions specifically for IT professionals.

ASG provides a variety of IT consulting areas of emphasis including virtualization, professional services, and assessments and audits. As a consistent member of the CRN Tech Elite 250, ASG pursues active involvement in the industry, maintaining the highest level of engineering certifications with partners and the vendor community.
