The QHi Group is pleased to announce that it's innovative Continual Thermal Monitoring solution Exertherm™ and recently launched dynamic low load, ambient and absolute temperature monitoring software LoadMap™ has gained further international recognition as the winner of the Network and Infrastructure solution design award at the 'Future Thinking' technology conference in Germany last week.
At its core, Exertherm™ is a 24 x 7 real-time Thermal Monitoring solution specifically designed to detect potential busbar / joint and cable connection issues in primary and critical distribution paths within panels / switchgear / UPS / power distribution units, providing reliable continuous data via non powered small plastic IR sensors which are placed INSIDE electrical enclosures to mitigate risk and increase operational continuity within critical environments.
LoadMap™ further enhances this 24 x 7 protection on a dynamic basis, providing a thermal map to identify potential hidden problems which may exist on circuits operating at low loads (typically <30%). Thus for the first time it is possible to verify the integrity of monitored circuits prior to load switching or increased loads. This allows the solution to give an impressive insight into circuit / phase integrity with pro-active recommendations and modelling tools to assist operational and facility managers to and understand the health of the entire distribution path under current and future conditions including absolute and ambient management capabilities.
The solution is already being adopted by global blue chip organisations in data centre, oil / gas, mining, healthcare, and marine market sectors as the next 'Best Practice' methodology, enabling an accurate and real time insight, as opposed to periodic (typically annual) thermal imaging inspections, which often fail to detect critical failures arising due to a number of key issue.
Exertherm LoadMap™ technology can be factory fitted by most OEM suppliers on request, or can be easily retro-fitted to existing equipment irrespective of manufacturer.
Ross Kennedy CEO of QHi Group commented: "This award from Future thinking Germany helps confirm the growing global market acceptance of our innovative solution of which the tangible benefits and value are being increasingly recognised and adopted. We are delighted to be recognised by the team at 'Future Thinking' and look forward to continued international expansion for Exertherm™ and LoadMap™."
