Rick Cooper, Ken Cerney, Darryl Goss, Bob DeCresce, and Douglas King have joined the hc1.com advisory board to help accelerate the positive transformation of healthcare through this innovative solution that is being adopted by world leading medical laboratories and healthcare providers.

Rick Cooper serves as Manager of the National Healthcare Practice Group at McDonald Hopkins and is co-chair of its Healthcare Restructuring Practice Group. He also serves on the firm's Board of Directors. McDonald Hopkins represents in excess of 400 pathology groups and a substantial number of laboratories. Rick is a frequent speaker on laboratory and pathology issues at state and national conferences and contributes to several laboratory and pathology publications.

Ken Cerney is the President of Strand Diagnostics (Know Error), a DNA testing company that recently announced it will receive an investment of $30 million from Nantworks. Ken has held key positions at some of the biggest names in the laboratory and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Know Error, he served as Sales Director for Quest Diagnostics, National Vice President of Pathology for McKesson, and Director of Genomics and Anatomic Pathology for LabCorp.
Darryl Goss serves as the Vice President & General Manager of the UK Biologics Operations at BioReliance, Inc., a leading provider of global biopharmaceutical testing services. At BioReliance, Darryl also serves as Vice President of Toxicology & Laboratory Animal Diagnostic Services (LADS). The company was recently acquired by Sigma-Aldrich Corporation.

Bob DeCresce is the President of Pathology Associates of Aurora and is a Trustee of Rush University Medical Center -- named a top U.S. hospital by U.S. News and World Report – where he serves as Chairman of the Department of Pathology at Rush. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at VWR International and also serves as President of University Pathology Consultants, LLC.

Douglas King is the Senior Scientific Advisor for BioStorage Technologies. After founding DCL Medical Laboratories, he served as Director of Business Development for the Pharmaceutical Studies Division of DCL. Doug initially gained his deep understanding of the laboratory market as a Cytotechnologist and professor, with contributions to Thomas Jefferson University, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Medical University of South Carolina.
