TIMEX is Named Presenting Sponsor of Universal Sports’ Live Stream of the Boston Marathon

Timex, a leader in GPS enabled sports training timepieces, today announced it will sponsor Universal Sports' live multiplatform coverage of the 2012 Boston Marathon. Timex is partnering with Universal Sports to showcase its GPS enabled training watches, including the Timex® Ironman® Run Trainer™.

The race will air live on Monday, April 16 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET and will be available on Universal Sports Network and UniversalSports.com. As part of Timex's online presenting sponsorship of the live stream, Timex GPS will receive branded exposure on the live stream, UniversalSports.com's Boston Marathon page, the race leader board and through social media and promotional outlets. The Timex sponsorship will also make UniversalSports.com's live streaming available for free to fans, giving race enthusiasts an all-access pass to one of the most anticipated races of the year.
