Next week is school vacation week for most Boston-area public schools, which means that families will be frantically looking for fun things to do in Boston with kids. Family-Friendly Boston, a popular local blog founded and edited by Boston mom blogger Jodi Grundig, has just announced their top 8 things to do with kids in Boston over April family vacation.
Since the weather forecast is for some warm, sunny days, get outside to visit one of the local zoos, including the Southwick Zoo, which opens for the season on April 14th. Or, catch one of the Red Sox home games - including a series against the Yankees. Of course, watching the Boston Marathon on Monday is another fun, family-friendly activity.
If you choose to spend some time inside, there are plenty of things to do indoors. Indoor activities include the Friday Aqua Family Fun Days at the New England Aquarium, puppet shows at the Puppet Showplace Theatre, and the Cogan Family Foundation Vacation Week Adventures at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
You can find the full list of activities, as well as reviews of local venues on Family-Friendly Boston.
