Latest release introduces Payroll Connect, delivering the industry’s most complete and integrated HRMS solution on the Force.com cloud computing platform.

Vana Workforce today announced the general availability of Vana HCM Release Update 5, delivered on Force.com, salesforce.com's enterprise cloud computing platform for building employee-facing social apps.

Vana HCM Release Update 5 introduces significant new and expanded functionality delivering one integrated human resource and talent management solution for small and medium enterprises available 100% in the cloud.

New Updates in Vana HCM Update 5 Include:

Payroll Connect - Vana HCM Update 5 introduces Payroll Connect, a completely configurable module to integrate data from Vana HCM to external payroll systems or any other 3rd party solution. An unlimited number of interface files can be created and maintained online, with no coding required. Interfaces can be run at designated intervals such as pay periods, automatically recognizing changes that have occurred during this time.

Rapid Hire - the new Rapid Hire functionality delivers a configurable hiring process whereby users can determine what information is made available all on one simplified hiring page to streamline the processing of hiring a new employee into the organization.

Manager Absence Request - the new Manager Absence Request functionality enables managers or delegates to perform absence and leave requests on behalf of employees, offering the same business rules and validations necessary to ensure compliance with employee leave rules and processing.

Employee Document Management - the new Employee Document Management functionality enables administrators to push out specific documents to employees and lets employees add, update, and manage workforce documents in a self service environment.

Enhanced Social Media Integration - this latest release includes enhanced social media integration with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube where administrators as well as employees can manage personal social media profiles online.

User Experience - with Release 5, we’ve updated the user experience for employee and manager self-service transactions as well as recruitment, continuing to deliver the industry’s leading user experience built for today’s social and mobile workforce.
