The Independent Association of Businesses today announced Jimmy Hersman as the new Senior Vice President of Strategic Partners. In his new role, Hersman will work with national leaders to create access to consumer driven health care to help advance IAB’s mission to strengthen America’s small business sector and help protect their interests.
IAB Founder, Mr. James Wood said “With nearly two decades of consumer driven health care experience, Jimmy has an extensive background with health care solutions. As a national industry leader he is someone who will effectively play a key role in advancing one of our members biggest concerns - to modernize and promote affordable products for the pro-consumer health care community."
"Jimmy, as a national speaker, has advised business leaders for years about how to improve their methods to save small business owners and employees money on their health care," said IAB President Shane Madigan.
Prior to joining IAB, Hersman served as Executive Vice-President of Health Care Services for Hammerman & Gainer, Inc., an 83 year old Third Party Administrator creating its first health care division. His experience was the essential key in establishing this division and to bring aboard American Express as one of their 3 approved TPA's in America.
