Everything we are doing right now is positioning us to be the definitive leader in revenue cycle offerings. Our new tagline is ‘Revenue Cycle. Perfected.’ It’s a strong statement, and we stand behind it 100 percent.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 12, 2012
Avadyne Health, a leading provider of patient-centric outsourced revenue cycle management services, announced today the formation of two new departments and several key human resource moves. The moves stem from the firm’s merger with Benchmark Revenue Management, the nation’s premier revenue cycle workflow provider for hospitals.
The new Patient Experience department will leverage on Avadyne’s position as a market leader in resolving self-pay accounts using a total patient experience model. The Revenue Cycle department will focus on assisting clients with analyzing their revenue cycle metrics and optimizing the firm’s services based on that analysis. The firm is also changing its logo to reflect the enhanced strategic positioning related to these departments and the workflow technology from Benchmark.
Scott Morgan, formerly served as Chief Strategy Officer, will assume the position of Chief Patient Experience Officer. According to Morgan, “I can’t tell you how excited I am about taking on this role. It is a definitive statement from Avadyne about how seriously we take the concept of the Total Patient Experience. For many companies, it is an afterthought. At Avadyne, we believe that the patient is at the core of a successful revenue cycle, and it’s my job to ensure that belief is reflected in everything we do.”
Another key move involves Susan Searcy becoming the Vice President of Revenue Cycle. She formerly served as VP of Finance for Avadyne Health. Searcy’s department will guide clients toward the optimal use of the firms’ offerings and will assist them in unearthing additional opportunities across the revenue cycle.
“This is a huge step forward,” remarked Tyson McDowell, President of Avadyne’s Technology-Enabled Services group. “Susan’s wealth of experience as a revenue cycle executive will considerably expand our capability to assist our clients’ understanding of their data and metrics. Many technology and services companies offer some sort of professional services to support their offerings, but few have the kind of industry depth that Susan and her team can bring.”
Avadyne also announced that Tom Conway, who was previously the CFO for Benchmark, will serve as CFO for Avadyne Health. Along with the announcements, Avadyne released its new logo, which becomes the firm’s official logo on April 15.
“Tom has the skills and experience necessary to position Avadyne financially for the rapid growth that we are already beginning to experience as a result of the merger,” explained Moises Eilemberg, CEO of Avadyne Health. “These shifts in personnel reinforce just how well our two firms fit together. This is truly a case of one and one being more than two. Everything we are doing right now is positioning us to be the definitive leader in revenue cycle offerings. The synthesis of our two firms is perfectly reflected in our new logo and tagline.”
“The familiar Benchmark swirl has been combined with the Avadyne name to show how the two come together and make the new whole more dynamic than either company alone,” added McDowell. “Our new tagline is ‘Revenue Cycle. Perfected.’ It’s a strong statement, and we stand behind it 100 percent.”
