Indicee Inc. (“Indicee”), the leading cloud business intelligence platform, has been selected as one of just four 2012 ‘NextGen Program’ companies by the Software & Information Industry Association (“SIIA”).
The SIIA identified the final four companies that will take part in their NextGen Program in an announcement made earlier this week. The program recognizes innovative cloud computing companies and provides them with an opportunity to showcase their products at ISV conference All About the Cloud on May 8-10 in San Francisco.
Indicee was chosen from over forty initial applicants and thirteen finalists by a panel of industry judges. The final companies were whittled down to just four winners based on scores across three areas of innovation: product, business model and presentation.
“The NextGen companies we’ve selected represent the next step in the evolution of cloud computing,” said Rhianna Collier, VP for the Software Division, SIIA. “We had an amazing response this year and competition was fierce. Indicee stood out to our judges as a company that’s well positioned to shake up their marketplace.”
The winning companies will exhibit in the all-new NextGen Pavilion at All About the Cloud, joining ISVs, resellers, platform and infrastructure providers, industry analysts, venture capitalists and media to discuss all aspects of cloud computing.
“It’s great to be recognized as a game-changer in the cloud business intelligence space," said Mark Cunningham, Founder and CEO, Indicee. "We’ve built our product for the cloud, from the ground up, so we can provide agile and user-friendly business intelligence software. All About the Cloud is the perfect opportunity to showcase Indicee and meet cloud-based ISVs that are looking for an easy way to add reporting and analytics to their own applications.”
Mark Cunningham will join CEOs from all four NextGen companies on the “Next Generation of Cloud” panel during the event.
Indicee is leading the shift from complex, expensive Business Intelligence (BI) software to agile cloud-based services that can quickly bring data together from many sources and deliver the answers that businesses need.
Backed by Granite Ventures and Yaletown Ventures, Indicee’s Cloud BI Platform was built from the ground up by business intelligence industry visionaries from Crystal Services and Business Objects. The team designed Indicee after experiencing the path BI had taken from accessible solutions to complex software suites only armies of developers and analysts could deliver.
