Fewer than 10% of Webby entrants are honored as being among the best in their respective categories; with nearly 70 categories, web site entries make up the majority of Webby winners, nominees and honorees. According to the Webby web site, of the over 8000 entries submitted to the 16th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as Official Honorees.
