Taking Sugar Higher

SierraCRM's Process Manager integrated with SugarCRM provides fantastic value for our joint customers who need to better manage workflow processes," said Clint Oram, Chief Technology Office, Co-Founder and Vice President of Product Strategy at SugarCRM.

SierraCRM, today announced a technology integration with SugarCRM, the world’s fastest-growing customer relationship management (CRM) company, that lets customers streamline their workflows. The integration between SierraCRM’s Process Manager and SugarCRM will be demonstrated on the show floor at SugarCon 2012, where SierraCRM is a silver sponsor.

“SierraCRM’s Process Manager integrated with SugarCRM provides fantastic value for our joint customers who need to better manage workflow processes,” said Clint Oram, Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder and Vice President of Product Strategy for SugarCRM. “We began working with SierraCRM in 2005, and we have been on an innovative path with them ever since.”

“Companies are striving to get to know their existing customers better and market to new customers more effectively,” reports Bill Convis, CTO of SierraCRM. “By creating a more effective workflow through the SierraCRM and SugarCRM integration, we are seeing customers save time, close more deals and find more opportunities for upsells.”

Process Manager Pro allows customers to set up simple to complex business processes that match their best business practices. They can build processes based on the creation or modification of any SugarCRM module. Customers can build processes that run at specific times throughout the year, query SugarCRM for any data, and run a specific workflow task such as send an email, schedule a call, create a task, run custom scripts, modify fields or even create new SugarCRM objects.

Customers have experienced success with the SierraCRM and SugarCRM integration. For example, customer Drew Nichols, of Long Tree Care Insurance in Seneca South Carolina, said, “SugarCRM combined with SierraCRM’s Process Manager takes CRM to a whole new level for us. We have multiple processes set up based on the lifecycle of an insurance quote, and the integration lets us stay focused on handling the tasks and communications with our customers. Also, the technical support delivered by SierraCRM was instrumental in helping us get our CRM deployment up-and-running.”

Convis continues, “SugarCRM offers an unparalleled product, and they really value their relationships with partners. Working with SugarCRM enables us to deliver the best products at the best value to the market.”

SierraCRM offers two key enhancement workflow products for SugarCRM. The Process Manager Pro module sells for $500. Process Manager Pro-SP, scheduled for release 2nd quarter 2012, bundles many advanced features plus implementation support.
