“We are excited to have her join our H4KI family.”
Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 13, 2012
On March 12, 2012 Robin Young-Ellis, Houston Business woman, Philanthropist and Humanitarian, was appointed to join Hope 4 Kids International (H4KI) Board of Directors.
H4KI is a non-profit organization committed to serving impoverished children around the world by leading teams equipped with essential medical and dental supplies and other provisions. In addition, Hope 4 Kids has multiple ongoing long-term economic, spiritual, orphan and feeding programs in an effort to carry our message of hope through these outreaches.
Young-Ellis has been a passionate supporter of Hope 4 Kids International (H4KI) since 2010. During her mission travels with Hope 4 Kids International and Water 4 Kids International in the summer of 2010, Young-Ellis adopted a rural village that supports more than 14,000 villagers.
In her recent return to the village in the summer of 2011, Young-Ellis was honored in the village dedication and ceremonies for her support in building their church, latrine, 2-room clinic and two water wells.
“Hope 4 Kids International is proud to announce our new board member Robin Young-Ellis,” said Angie Simon, Vice President of International Development. “We are excited to have her join our H4KI family.”
Of her most current projects, Young-Ellis has collaborated with the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture for the development of new schools that transition a village from dependency to self-sufficient and sustainable. The design of the new school project will be undertaken by graduate architecture students, Texas IMPACT Design, in a vertical design studio under the direction of Professor Michael Garrison.
