The Visual Communications Industry Group (VCI-Group) today announced that Vaddio Corporation has joined the VCI-Group as an Alliance Member and will attend and exhibit at VCI-Group’s Annual Conference in Monterey, California this October. Vaddio is the leading manufacturer and OEM-distributor of specialty PTZ cameras and camera control systems used in the audiovisual, videoconference and broadcast industries, and most recently announced EasyUSB, a new standard for computer peripherals based on professional AV quality performance.
VCI-Group, the knowledge-sharing user community that shapes the Visual Communications Industry, is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to influencing the development of Industry-based standards for multimedia collaboration technologies and applications, to improve industry products and services, and to facilitate the exchange of information among its members.
“We are pleased to announce Vaddio as a new Alliance Member, and we are excited about their participation in the education and exhibitor track at our Annual Conference this year,” said Stephen Demmings, President of VCI-Group. “Vaddio is one of the cutting edge innovators of visual collaboration peripheral products in the world, and as such they are a welcome addition to our Alliance membership. Our Alliance Members, combined with our large group of end-users helps create a powerful and compelling learning and sharing environment for all of us.
“Our unique community of end-user members”, he continued, “includes equipment resellers, integrators, and manufacturers as Alliance Members. This complete community allows us to be the single voice for the Industry, and we greatly appreciate our Alliance Members and the value they can bring our membership with their leading edge information, education tracks and support. One of the goals of the VCI-Group is to keep our constituency up-to-date and informed about the most important and member impacting industry issues and opportunities, and our Alliance Members play a vital role in achieving that goal. “
One of the methods used by the VCI-Group to keep their constituency up-to-date and informed is to leverage the education and teaching tracks available from their Alliance Members during the Annual Conference. Additionally, Alliance Members deliver regular “brown bag” information and training tracks to the VCI-Group membership throughout the year.
VCI-Group focuses on facilitating educational and peer networking in the conferencing and collaboration industry. In addition to providing access to education, training, learning programs and “hot-off-the-press” news and information, VCI-Group’s driving force is to keep the membership very well informed and connected to their network of member professionals.
