When a child or teenager suffers from learning disabilities, it affects their entire world. Once they have completed our online brain training program, these students are in awe, because for the first time, they realize how smart they truly are.

Several years after launching its online one-on-one brain-training program that treats people with learning disabilties and concentration problems, Brain Potential Institute now has affirmative evidence that the program is equally as successful when completed online as at its onsite center. Results of the online treatment program indicate a significant increase in IQ, attention, focusing, and memory for those with ADD, ADHD, central auditory processing issues, autism and memory loss. The success rate for young students is equal to that for adults. Each year, the online brain-training program exponentially gains in popularity because of its dramatic results.
Brain Potential Institute is one of the few companies able to increase a person’s IQ by significant numbers. It’s program helps with concentration issues, math and reading problems, development disorders and a litany of other cognitive and learning disabilities. The foundation on which Brain Potential Institute has based its program is neurogenesis—the brain’s ability to create new neuropathways.
“We have been able to increase a student’s neuropathways so those who were failing in school are now getting B grades or better and often making the honor roll,” said Jane Davis, P.T., M.S.H.P, CEO and founder, Brain Potential Institute. “Many have gained three grade levels in reading and experienced up to a 30-point IQ increase.”
Recent scientific studies indicate that brain training is extremely effective when implemented by a skilled trainer. Brain training works because building stronger brain networks improves memory, attention, ability to understand language, and brain processing speed, making the brain become more efficient.
“If the brain is not wired properly i.e. developed fully in one or more areas, the person inevitably will encounter learning disabilities,” said Davis. “We can optimize the brain to its fullest.”
Brain Potential Institute’s program is known as VOLT--short for Virtual Online Training. It was launched to extend its services globally. Now, nearly all Brain Potential Institute’s students are successfully using the online program to treat ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, central auditory processing issues, autism, and attention and focusing deficits.
What differentiates Brain Potential Institute’s online program is that it is not computer generated, but instead, requires the student to work face-to-face with a trainer via SKYPE.
“You cannot optimally repair a brain with a push of the space bar,” said Davis. “Developing new neuropathways requires repeating highly specific brain exercises that target various areas of the brain in relation to the student’s deficiencies. This can only be accomplished by an expert brain trainer working with the student one-on-one each step of the way.”
The program takes an average of 72 hours. Students work with a trainer online using tools to make it possible for them to respond verbally or in writing. The online brain-training program mirrors that which is implemented at the center, yet allows students to work with brain trainers in the privacy of their homes or offices.
Once students complete the VOLT brain-training program, they typically overcome learning disabilities because these highly developed brain exercises create the neuropathways critical for improving focus and attention, retaining information, following multi-stepped directions and staying on task. The brain trainer then facilitates wiring the newly developed neuropathways together with those areas of the brain that were already well developed so its systems work together. At that point, the student’s motivation to learn increases dramatically and the student is then ready for tutoring.
“Solid wiring of the brain is critical before tutoring can be effective,” said Davis. “This is why, for many students, tutoring does not work.”
“Children and teens that enter our program typically have become frustrated with school and feel defeated because their brains have kept them from learning at the same pace as their peers,” said Davis. “We strive to optimize their brains so they can excel. We have a long-established success rate in helping students overcome learning problems resulting from ADHD, ADD, central auditory processing issues, autism and dyslexia.”
Furthermore, students with learning disabilities often don’t pick up on social cues, as do students whose brains are fully developed. After approximately 72 hours of brain training, students are able to pick up on social cues, making it possible for them to make better choices. Equally, because students are less exhausted and frustrated, their behavior improves.
Brain Potential Institute is a pioneer in online brain training. By erasing borders and allowing people globally to enter the Brain Potential Institute’s highly effective VOLT brain training program, the company is experiencing an influx of clients from England, Australia and other English-speaking countries.
Because the program also incorporates its brain training with follow-up tutoring, students often progress academically to the same level as their peers. Nearly all experience permanent results, as validated and verified by scores on Standardized IQ & Achievement tests.
Brain Potential Institute is based in Montgomery County, Texas, approximately 30 miles north of Houston. Many students that attend locally live within the communities of the Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Woodlands Willis, Cy-Fair Champions, Tomball and Spring areas.
Jane Davis, P.T., M.S.H.P founded Brain Potential Institute in 2002 as Kid Potential Inc. The company expanded its services to provide brain training to teens, adults and seniors, which required rebranding itself as Brain Potential Institute. Brain Potential Institute is dedicated to optimizing through cognitive training, the human brain to reach its highest intellectual potential for optimum performance at school and work, and to preserve brain function at all ages. Brain Potential Institute accepts students ages 3 through 90. Screenings are free. Please visit http://www.brainpotentialinstitute.com, or call 877.600.6565 for more information.
