National Education’s SAGE Tuition Advantage can now be used to pay outstanding balances from prior terms.

This great new feature is one of many advantages SAGE Tuition Advantage holds over other types of higher education financing: SAGE Tuition Advantage awards may be used to cover past due balances from the prior term. Direct Loans and most other private education loan programs do not offer this flexibility.

Help students who are struggling with past due balances by awarding them SAGE Tuition Advantage. This is a great way to keep students enrolled and ensure they realize their higher education goals.

SAGE Tuition Advantage also features a 0% APR with earned benefits. Borrowers get the final 25% of the original principal balance forgiven when they graduate from the issuing institution and make their payments in a timely manner. Even if those qualifications are not met, the APR without benefits is still a low 2.55%.

Schools make no up front investment and benefit from partnering with National Education Servicing, a nationally recognized servicer who received ‘Exceptional Performer’ recognition from the Department of Education, to administer the program.

SAGE Scholars, Inc., established in 1995, has created the nation’s largest private college savings program, with more than 190,000 participating students and 287 participating colleges (45 states). Families who save in programs such as the Pennsylvania and Wisconsin state 529 Plans are rewarded with Tuition Reward Points – similar to frequent flyer miles – that can be redeemed for guaranteed minimum discounts if students are admitted to and attend a member college, beginning with the freshman year.

National Education, established in 1988, is a financial solution company sharply focused on developing, marketing, originating and servicing education financial products. National Education has received the “Exceptional Performer” designation from the U.S. Department of Education.
