The George Jarkesy Radio Show, hosted by National Eagles and Angels Chairman, George Jarkesy, added several new guests to their guest panel. The nationally syndicated show airs on AM/FM radio through the Wall Street Business Network and CRN 5, from 4-5 PM EST. The show features Jarkesy’s commentary on issues in the worlds of business, finance, economics, and politics, and the guests reflect the topics of each show. Along with co-host Dwayne Deslatte, the show aims to educate and enrich listeners, empowering them with the knowledge they need to make savvy decisions.
The week, beginning on April 9th 2012, opened with Congresswoman Nan Hayworth, who discussed the current issues between Obama and the Supreme Court. Also on the show was the newest entrepreneurial warrior of the week, David Bellavia, an Iraq War Veteran, best selling author of "House to House: An Epic Memoir of War", Congressional Candidate, and Co-Founder of 'Vets For Freedom' and 'Warrior Legacy Foundation'. The “Entrepreneurial Warrior Of The Week” features a segment dedicated to the military men and women who serve America. Jarkesy uses the segment to highlight a veteran who has built a successful small business and helped to create American jobs. Veterans are invited to write and call into the show, and one is picked every week to be featured on The George Jarkesy Show.
Tuesday’s show hosted Floyd Brown, President of The Western Center of Journalism, to discuss his book “Killing Wealth/Free Wealth” which is now available in the bookstore section of http://www.georgejarkesy.com. Wednesday’s show featured senior market analyst, Shawn Beecher, of the Market Traders Institute to talk about the Yen, and Malcolm Out Loud to expand on the current Obama and Supreme Court issue.
Thursday’s show welcomed Russell Cleveland, Fund Manager, Founder, President, and CEO of Renn Capital Group. Cleveland is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and author of “Finding Midas” and discussed the markets and founder owner investing. Also on Thursday’s show was Grace-Marie Turner, the President and Founder of The Galen Institute, a public policy research organization that she founded in 1995 to promote an informed debate over free-market ideas for health reform. Turner discussed the reasons why Obamacare is unconstitutional.
Friday’s show featured Matt Ferris, Chairman of The United States Gold Bureau, to discuss why diversifying your portfolio with metals is a good idea. Also on the show was TV new regular, Jedediah Bila, who discussed her book “Outnumbered: Chronicles of a Manhattan Conservative”, which can also be found in the George Jarkesy bookstore.
