Reston, VA (PRWEB) April 13, 2012
The Wickford Group has launched the "Defining the Ultimate Lawyer" panel series. The panelists, made up of senior in-house counsel from around the country, will discuss how outside counsel can deliver greater value to their clients in ways that go beyond alternative fee arrangements.
The series of panel discussions emphasizes the importance of outside counsel to the role of their in-house counterparts, and provides insight into what in-house counsel expect and need from their law firms.
“With the legal landscape shifting so dramatically over the past few years, it has become incumbent on outside counsel to find new ways to deliver value to their clients,” said Rod Boddie, series moderator and a Senior Advisor at The Wickford Group. “While keeping legal fees in check and offering alternative fee arrangements are important, our panelists highlight a number of other significant ways in which law firms can utilize their skills and resources to better serve their clients,” Boddie continued. “We look forward to advancing this important dialogue.”
The "Defining the Ultimate Lawyer" panel series begins May, 2012 in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, adding New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Charlotte and other Eastern cities in the Summer, before expanding west in the Fall. Proceeds from each program will support a cause that serves the local community. A portion of all registration fees from programs occurring prior to May 31, 2012 will go to support Alternative House.
