Trilegiant, a global provider of membership programs that extend the relationships between large companies and their customers, has raised thousands of dollars for charity via its recent employee March Madness contest.
Employees of the company were encouraged to donate $5 to “sponsor” a March Madness team. As long as the employee’s team was still alive in the NCAA Tournament, that employee was able to take advantage of a casual work environment. If an employee’s team lost, that employee could then “sponsor” a new team.
The new take on March Madness pools raised thousands of dollars for charities in cities where Trilegiant has locations.
