Coleman Furniture was selected by Groupon for its ability to quickly deliver furniture across the United States with professional in home delivery service. Coleman agreed to complete all deliveries within 2 - 3 weeks, with most orders complete within 10 days.

"This was an experiment for Groupon to sell large home furnishing products, such as a living room set. We are very pleased with our experience working with Groupon and we have developed a good relationship with them. Additional deals are in the works. This case is another example of the evolution facing the furniture industry. In the coming years it will continue to become more mainstream for consumers to make big ticket purchases like furniture online." Y. Bruce Krinsky, Coleman Furniture CEO.

Coleman Furniture offered a complete leather living room set package manufactured by Coaster Furniture in 3 different color options at up to 61% off the retail price. The deal included the customer’s choice of a sofa; sofa and loveseat; or sofa, chair and ottoman. Coleman Furniture worked with Coaster Fine Furniture to secure a great price on the set for Groupon customers. Coaster Furniture in turn recognized the opportunity to increase their brand awareness through this special offering.

Coleman plans to participate in future furniture deals with Groupon after having sold to nearly 200 customers from Los Angeles to New York City and everywhere in between.

Coleman Furniture was one of the first furniture retailers to sell furniture online back in 1999 and has steadily increased their inventory as their business has expanded. Now offering over 25,000 products for the home and office, the online furniture store attributes its success to low damage rates, attentive customer service and professional free in home delivery and setup.
