Freedom Cigarettes is fast becoming one of the most recognised brands of electric cigarettes in the UK. Last year they supported many good causes including Children in Need and Sport relief to name a few. The Brighton marathon has only been running a few years, but is already attracting top athletes. The Commonwealth Games champion, John Kelai of Kenya, will be attempting to add the Brighton title to his impressive portfolio, his task will be made all the more difficult by the presence of two fast fellow-Kenyans, James Rotich and Peter Some. Rotich's best time of 2:07:12 came when he finished fourth in the Amsterdam marathon five years ago while Some's lifetime best of 2:10:16 was set in Padua last April. Inaugural winner, Serod Batochir, returns to the scene of his 2010 triumph having improved his personal best by over three minutes in the last two seasons. The Freedom team will be there in full force, cheering everyone on, and praying for a nice day.

“We decided to support the Brighton Marathon this year as a few clients and friends of staff are taking part. It is a great opportunity to support good causes, motivate people we know and have a fun day out. Due to the increased sales of our electric cigarettes we are in a much better position to support more events and charities. The Brighton Marathon is a great thing to be involved in as it supports the NSPCC and Hope for Children as their official charities. There is always a very good vibe in Brighton and we are looking forward to a really nice day out, weather permitting!” commented Richard Power of Freedom Cigarettes.
