Digital marketing agency MMK Media has appointed Sophie Caswell as Head of Strategy with effect from June 2012. Sophie will be joining from Starcom MediaVest Group, where she is currently part of the senior management team.
Sophie's role will be to ensure that the company continues to push new ideas, engage in excellent marketing and planning, and delivers a great service to all their clients.
Sophie began her career at Leo Burnett as a planner, before moving to Carat where she was Client Director and a board director before the age of 30. After leaving Carat she joined the management team at Starcom MediaVest Group, before being asked to head up recruitment. During her career she has worked on a range of brands including Abbey, Debenhams, Dell, Haagen Daz, BT, Heart, Mercedes, and Tetley.

MMK Media were founded in 2010, specialising in digital marketing strategy, social media campaigns and applications, and website build and optimisation. Their client list includes RAC, Homeserve, and E-Consultancy. In November 2011 they were appointed to work on the hmv digital account, and have recently begun work on creative social media campaigns with fashion brand Superga.
