Summary: Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson and a global leader in maximizing availability, capacity and efficiency of critical infrastructure, will bring together IT professionals, as well as electrical, design and consulting-specifying engineering professionals in an event designed to help prepare them for what’s next in data center power solutions.

The three-day event, April 16-18 at the company’s manufacturing facility located in Delaware, Ohio, is intended to provide attendees an opportunity to experience the latest Liebert UPS and power technologies and discuss data center power challenges, trends and best practices.

Live UPS Performance Testing
One of the event highlights is the opportunity to witness live performance testing of the recently-introduced Liebert® NXL™ 1100kVA/1100kW UPS. The UPS will be tested in the 25,600-square-foot power test center housed in the Delaware facility, which hosts customers from around the world who prefer to be on-site to witness the performance, interoperability and efficiency of the critical power systems that will protect their data centers and other business-critical facilities.

Liebert NXL 1100kVA/1100kW UPS offers medium to large data centers a level of operating efficiency previously available only in transformer-free systems, but with the safety, fault tolerance, and reliability demonstrated by transformer-based systems. The highest-capacity transformer-based UPS in the industry, this UPS provides the industry’s best operating efficiency at typical load levels in double conversion mode with up to 98 percent efficiency when operating in Intelligent Eco-Mode™.

Quotes attributable to Greg Moore, vice president and general manager, global AC power, for the Liebert products business of Emerson Network Power:
–“Industry engineers and IT managers understand that change is inevitable in the data center. Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and proven best practices will result in reliable data center designs that achieve new levels of efficiency and flexibility.”

–“Emerson Network Power’s leading technologies and local presence ensure that data centers are optimized for today’s complexities and tomorrow’s possibilities. Through events such as this one, we help IT professionals and the engineers who contribute to data center design to implement a facility with maximized availability, capacity and efficiency.”
