Elms College to Host Blazer Games Sunday

Elms College athletes, Special Olympic athletes and their families and coaches will participate in Special Olympic-formatted games.

Who: Division III Elms College athletes, Special Olympic athletes and their families and coaches.

What: 14 stations comprised of Special Olympic formatted games – including strength building, endurance, and nutrition-based activities.

When: 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012.

Where: Elms College Keating Quadrangle (Berchmans Hall gym in the event of inclement weather).

The mission of Blazer Games is to create a sense of citizenship amongst the community, while fostering a safe and healthy playing environment. The event will promote respect amongst friends and families in a diverse atmosphere. Blazer Games aims to spread awareness about the Special Olympics while allowing Elms College and its athletes to build a longstanding relationship with the organization and its athletes.
