Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe, a ‘Featured Business’ on SantaFe.com, tees up its second annual ‘Golf Swap’ fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sat. April 14. The event is free, features a silent auction and it benefits the FORE Kids Scholarship Fund, which supports local youth. Participants are asked to donate their old golf equipment, which will be sold to raise funds during the event. Or they can come out to the event and make a purchase some of the “new” o r “used” equipment to show their support

Both duffers and scratch golfers as well as locals and visitors are invited to Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe’s Second Annual Golf Swap from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14. Both “new” and “pre-owned” golf equipment included golf clubs and golf bags are being offered for sale, in addition to a silent auction, to raise money to be used in the form of grants to offer recreational opportunities for Santa Fe youth at the Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe, which is Santa Fe’s municipal golf course, the Genoveva Chavez Community Center, and the AYSO Soccer League. Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe is a 'Featured Business' on SantaFe.com.

Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe is approximately 70 miles from the ABQ International Airport with a driving time of 60-90 minutes depending on traffic. The Santa Fe Airport is located approximately 5 miles from Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe golf course.

Appropriate attire is required and must be observed at all times. Bathing attire, gym shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, and other dress of a similar nature is not appropriate. Shorts may be worn but must be of Bermuda length, and men must wear collared shirts. Women will be allowed to wear collarless attire.

From Albuquerque: North on I-25 to exit 276B (599 N. Santa Fe Relief Route). North 3 miles to Airport Road & 599 intersection; continue 2 more miles north to intersection at Caja Del Rio. Left at Caja Del Rio, approximately 2 miles.

From Downtown Santa Fe: North on US 84/285 (St. Francis Drive): south at intersection onto 599 (Santa Fe Relief Route); approximately 9 miles to frontage road, look for SF County Course signage, turn right; 2 miles to the intersection at Caja Del Rio.

The course has five sets of tees ranging from forward tees of 5,045 yards to the championship test of 7,415 yards from the back tees. Fairways are long and generally concave, with lightly undulating, mid-sized greens. The opening par 5 is 565 yards from the championship tee and will test your ability right from the start!
