Young children often keep their parents on their toes, just like the case of a little girl named Hana. In No Yellow Horse, If You Please, a delightful picture book by Linda Loper Morris, she and her mother engage in word games that reveal just how clever kids can be.
Hana likes to run, jump and climb. But during mealtime, playing word games with her mother is one of her favorite things to do. One day, they decide to name things that are yellow. However, Hana’s favorite game turns into a debate that has a surprising ending.
With vibrant illustrations and rhyming text, No Yellow Horse, If You Please is a delightful read that parents will enjoy with their kids. It makes reading fun for young children and teaches them to be assertive. Will Hana or her mother win in their debate? Readers can find out as they immerse in this charming story.
No Yellow Horse, If You Please will be featured at the 2012 The London Book Fair Book Exhibit in London, UK, on April 16-18, 2012.
