The theme of our Ride is Mobilizing to Defeat Diabetes.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 19, 2012
On June 14, 2012, the Iron Eagle Project will travel the length of the Las Vegas to begin a 25,000 mile in 25 day record breaking motorcycle Ride. The purpose of the Ride is to raise the final $10 million of a $25 million commitment to the Diabetes Research Center made by the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE).
The Ride will be live under the cameras for the 25 straight days on the road to break the record, and continuing on to the end in Michigan.
Founded in 1898, the FOE is "People Helping People" and raises millions each year for charitable causes. No administrative costs are deducted - 100 cents of every dollar raised goes where intended. This year marks more than 100 years each of building trust and business relationships for the City of Las Vegas, the BBB, the Chamber and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
The theme of our Ride is “Mobilizing to Defeat Diabetes.” The website at http://www.IronEagle.Org is currently being updated. Immediately preceding the June 14, 2012 start of the Ride under the lights of Cashman Field, several events will be hosted, including a cross-branded golf tournament at the PGA course at TPC-Summerlin.
During this same time, the Motorcycle Riders Foundations and the Electric Daisy Carnival are expected to bring more than 250,000 participants to Las Vegas. The ending will be July 8, 2012 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, home of AMWAY International.
In addition to breaking the record on endurance motorcycle riding, the Ride may be setting additional records for the world’s longest televised athletic event and the most funds raised in a single charity event! The cross-brands and support information will be seen internationally for not less than 1,000 straight and uninterrupted hours.
