User-friendly website creator is partnering with Santander Rio to provide professional websites with full e-commerce and mobile capabilities to SME bank clients, as an exclusive benefit.

Building upon existing partnerships with Telefonica and Movistar, the do it yourself web builder will now provide premium accounts with full e-commerce to Santander Rio’s small business clients.

By choosing Neosites, Santander Rio will offer clients the benefit of launching their business online with a professional website, automatically formatted for viewing on mobile devices and Facebook pages. With global e-commerce sales projected to reach over $960 billion by 2013, small business owners recognize that having an online store is imperative.

Focusing on e-commerce and the changing technological landscape, Neosites COO Pablo Harburguer emphasizes that, ''with mobile browsing set to outpace PC usage in the coming years, businesses have to let customers shop in their online stores straight from mobile devices, and that’s something that Neosites offers.''

By providing a fast and easy alternative to hiring a third party web developer, Neosites lets users build their own professional sites, with no technical skills needed. Neosites began marketing its web builder service under the white label brand ''Sucursal Online'' in 2008 when it partnered with Telefonica Argentina, followed by partnerships with Telfonica Chile and Movistar Peru.

Santander Rio, the largest privately owned bank in Argentina, is offering the web site builder under the allied brand "PYMES Online" as a benefit focused on small businesses. With 75% of SMEs in Latin America lacking an online presence, Santander aims to give their Latam customers the tools to compete in the online marketplace. Highlighting this point, Director of Business Banking Matías Nuñez Castro stressed that, ''with a firm commitment to CSR, Santander Rio is providing Neosites’ Premium service to accelerate small business growth, without placing a cost burden on our clients'' The bank estimates that approximately 15,000 account holders will launch their business online with Neosites by the end of 2012.
