Seabrook, NH (PRWEB) April 18, 2012
Private Jet Services Group (PJS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Erica Mirick as Business Development Director. Erica will focus on expanding the successful higher education arm of the company’s Total Flight Management (TFM) program.
TFM is PJS’s unique approach to executive jet travel that begins with a consultative approach, providing clients with a zero obligation and zero fee comprehensive needs analysis. In leveraging the best solutions that the jet charter market offers, TFM programs drive down the cost of executive jet travel with the consistency of service and attention to detail that comes with decades of industry experience.
Erica joins the team from the Rhodes Trust. The Rhodes Trust is the British educational charity whose principal activity is to administer and fund the Rhodes Scholarships, postgraduate awards supporting exceptional all-round students from diverse countries to study at the University of Oxford. In her capacity as the US Development Manager, Erica managed the US fundraising and alumni initiatives for the Rhodes Trust with a focus on Annual Giving and volunteer recruitment and management. In addition, Erica assisted with the overall global fundraising and alumni engagement strategy, planning and executing events, strategic gatherings, and meetings world-wide.
Prior to her direct involvement with the Rhodes Trust, Erica served as the Director of Programs at HTSargent, LLC, a strategic consulting firm with a portfolio of global non-profit clients. Erica worked in support of the Founder providing creative and entrepreneurial ideas to organizations and individual philanthropists, including the Rhodes Trust and a major donor to the Clinton Global Initiative’s Annual Meeting.
“I’m thrilled to join the PJS team,” said Erica. “I’m eager to combine my insight and experience in the non-profit arena with the world of private aviation. Total Flight Management is a tool that literally generates more hours in a given day. I couldn’t be more excited to utilize TFM programming to empower Presidents and head coaches alike in their daily business – providing value-driven decisions, flexibility, and best in class service and safety standards for their heavy and often burdensome travel schedules.”
“The idea of private aviation for Higher Education may seem counter intuitive at first,” Greg Raiff, CEO of Private Jet Services Group and the Private Jet Group of Companies remarked. “However, our investment in the space since 2008 has reaped tremendous returns for Universities. Private aviation powered through the TFM program leverages an institution’s most precious resource: time.
“With a small investment, one University head coach tripled the number of prospects visited in a given season. The following year, his team advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. A further small investment allowed a University President to leverage his first year of flying through TFM for a return of an additional $300M to his capital campaign target.
“Erica’s background provides a solid understanding of the needs of those in higher education and is a great investment for PJS. Her focus in this underserved market is certain to provide a host of universities with similar successes and significant returns.”
Erica received her bachelor’s in Business Administration from The George Washington University (GWU), where she concentrated in Sport, Event, and Hospitality Management. Erica serves in a voluntary capacity for GWU, providing fundraising support for young alumni initiatives and has recently been asked to join the Board of Directors of the Buzzing for Change Foundation.
