Waterloo Gardens is building on tradition, expanding offerings, and reinvigorating the community: 70 years and still growing.

Waterloo Gardens, the region's premier garden and gift center, is kicking off its 70th Anniversary with an Anniversary Celebration on Saturday April 21st and Sunday April 22nd at both the Exton and Devon locations.

Waterloo Gardens, owned and run by a local family, has been a part of the ever-changing community landscape for generations. Many families have been a part of the success, from the members of the community to the extended Waterloo family who have been loyal customers for years.

"Waterloo Gardens was started by my mother's family, the Paolini's, in 1942. When my mother Linda married my father, Bo, they began to expand the business, continually growing it based on the needs and interests of the community around us," said Bobby LeBoutillier, CEO of Waterloo Gardens.

Always focusing on the needs of the customers, Waterloo Gardens has continued the founding principles of Quality, Expertise and Service, always bringing unique products and extraordinary plants and flowers to the community it serves.

Despite a continued growing reputation for excellence and knowledge on both the regional and national scale, Waterloo has never lost sight of its roots as a family-owned, community-based business. To celebrate that very community, and to say thank you to all the families who have helped them become who they are, Waterloo Gardens is inviting all to their weekend family celebration.

"We serve our neighbors, our friends, our employees. We could not have gotten to our 70th anniversary without all of them, and we need to always say thank you. Thank you to those who have brought us to where we are, and thank you to those in our community who have always supported us. This area has changed a lot over the last few decades, but for us it will always be home. And that's what Waterloo Gardens has always been about—being home, and treating our customers as neighbors, because they are our neighbors, " continued Bobby.

Celebrate with the entire Waterloo Gardens family, with special promotions and activities planned for every department. Stop in and talk to other local businesses from the community, sample their products, talk to product representatives, and taste some of our gourmet foods. Be sure not to miss a performance by local student musicians representing the Bishop Shanahan High School Jazz Band on Sunday afternoon at the Exton store. And of course meet our very own ‘Plant Doctor,’ Bob Keiter, who will be hosting open discussions and sharing his green thumb expertise with you. Bob has worked at Waterloo Gardens for forty years.
