Partner Jeb White has been named the Co-Chairman of this year’s ABA National Institute on the Civil False Claims Act & Qui Tam Enforcement, which will be held June 6-8, 2012, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C. In addition, Mr. White will open the conference with a panel discussion entitled “Fundamentals of the Civil False Claims Act and Qui Tam Enforcement.” Mr. White will be joined on the panel by conference co-chairmen U.S. Department of Justice Deputy Director Daniel Anderson and respected False Claims Act defense attorney John T. Boese.
This conference provides a comprehensive look at False Claims Act enforcement and recent trends in qui tam litigation. Speakers include prominent attorneys from the defense, qui tam, and federal and government bars. The audience will include hundreds of private and government attorneys from across the country.

Mr. White is one of the country’s leading qui tam advocates, having represented whistleblowers before the United States Congress and in qui tam across the country. As a tireless advocate of whistleblower rights, he has testified in front of the United States Congress and nearly a dozen state legislative bodies. As a trusted authority of the law, Mr. White has penned amicus curiae briefs in five United States Supreme Court cases, examining the federal False Claims Act, and he has been a constant source for Department of Justice and other officials in need of qui tam expertise. He has lectured over fifty times on the subjects of False Claims Act litigation and health care fraud schemes. Mr. White is the former President and current Board member of Taxpayers Against Fraud, a nonprofit public interest organization dedicated to combating fraud against the federal government.
