International hotel chain, Hilton Worldwide, has today launched a recruitment drive for 700 new jobs in the UK, ranging from management level positions to entry level roles and apprenticeships.
The recruitment drive is the initial phase of recruitment plans to add 1,500 new jobs in the company’s portfolio of hotels in the UK. Hilton’s expansion plans will also see the safeguarding of more than 1,900 jobs through hotel conversions to the Hilton Worldwide brand.
Hilton’s vice president of HR in Europe, Ben Bengougam, said that the recruitment would span the whole of the UK and would offer brilliant opportunities to dedicated workers.
"Our hotels cover the length and breadth of the U.K. and Ireland and the opportunities we offer stretch across the field of hospitality - from chefs to engineers and from architects to room attendants,” he said.
“We’re looking for people with a good work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The company is hosting a series of recruitment events this week to find the staff and has also launched an online recruitment facility to aid with the process.
