Latin American Sporting Goods Retailer Netshoes Partners with Mobile and Multichannel Leader to Reach Customers Anytime, Anywhere in Brazil

We’re pleased to see our first Brazilian partner, Netshoes, taking its multichannel strategy to the next level by offering customers an optimized mobile site and Facebook app that allows them to browse and shop where and when it’s most convenient.

Usablenet, a global technology leader in mobile and multichannel customer engagement, today announced its expansion into the Brazilian market, partnering with leading Latin American sporting goods retailer, Netshoes, to expand its mobile and multichannel brand presence. In October 2011, Netshoes partnered with Usablenet to launch an optimized mobile version of its website that extends the Netshoes brand to customers on their mobile devices.

To further develop its multi-channel presence, Netshoes worked with Usablenet to develop a Facebook commerce app that offers its customers a more streamlined, social shopping experience by allowing them to research and purchase products without ever leaving Netshoes’ Facebook Page.

Specific features of Netshoes’ new Facebook app include:

  •     Full Portuguese language support
  •     A full e-commerce experience that allows new and existing customers to shop a wide array of sports attire and accessories.
  •     Search capabilities that allow consumers to browse the full Netshoes catalog without ever leaving Facebook
  •     The ability to like and share products with your friends
  •     Dynamic promotions that are based on users’ profile information and recommended products
